Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries Divorce Likely to Continue Till Kanye West's Baby Delivered
Kim Kardashian is seeking to speed up the process of her divorce to Kris Humphries.
The 32-year-old reality star wants to be completely separated to her current husband before she gives birth to her baby with rapper Kanye West.
The divorce proceedings have turned into a mess as the 27-year-old basketball player allegedly refuses to officially divorce Kardashian unless she acknowledges his claims that their marriage was a fraud, according to The New York Post.
If their legal work cannot be completed in time there's a chance the couple technically will still be married at the time the reality star gives birth to West's baby in June. Because of their differences and schedule conflicts with Humphries obligations to the Brooklyn Nets, it is likely that the couple's year-and-a-half long divorce will drag out further.
"Unless Kim Kardashian gives in to Kris' demand that she admit the marriage fraudulent, the divorce proceedings will still be ongoing and she will still be legally married to him when she gives birth," said a source to RadarOnline.
While Kim is in the process of ending one marriage, she is not looking to start another one anytime soon with her baby's daddy, according to TMZ. Kardashian also apparently has not felt the need to validate the identity of her child's father who she insists is her 35-year-old music mogul boyfriend.
The gossip website also stated that Kardashian is seeking for Humphries to incur her hefty attorney fees from the very public divorce which is only driving a further wedge into the situation.
TMZ also reported that sources close to Kardashian say Humphries is being "spiteful and vindictive" about completing the divorce and moving on.
Kardashian and Humphries were married for 72 days before filing for separation in October 2011 where they cited irreconcilable differences.
