For those hoping that the Summer of Trump would be over by now, prepare yourselves for a very long winter. There are new reports indicating that Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump is now rising in the polls more than ever, making it very likely that he might be the Grand Ole Party's official ticket winner for the race to the White House in 2016.

According to Yahoo News on Monday, Trump now has 25 percent among Republican voters, with Ben Carson leading closely behind with 22 percent.

Sen. Marco Rubio is at a distant third with 13 percent, followed by Ted Cruz at 9 percent and Jeb Bush at 8 percent.

What's more, 59 percent of Republican voters admit to supporting Trump, compared to 47 percent of voters in September.

Meanwhile, Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump has gone on the campaign trail to defend her father, telling media outlets that his harsh criticism is not "gender specific."

Speaking to Fortune Magazine, Ivanka said, "Look, my father is very blunt. He's very direct. He is not gender specific in his criticism of people, and people that he doesn't particularly like or people that he does like but thinks they're wrong on a particular issue. So I don't think that he's gender-targeted at all. I wouldn't be the person I am today, I wouldn't be a high-level executive within his organization if he felt that way."
