Rolando McClain, linebacker for the Oakland Raiders, was arrested for giving police a false name after he was pulled over in Alabama on Tuesday for driving a car with overly dark window tinting.

The football player was pulled over in the afternoon in Decatur and had his vehicle's windows inspected.

Police determined that his windows were too dark and gave McClain a simple ticket with the instruction to get the windows fixed on his white Chevrolet Silverado Z-71, according to NBC Sports.

However, the 23-year-old Raiders player did not take his ticket lightly.

Instead of just signing his name to the ticket, he reportedly signed an obscenity followed by "y'all."

The officer reportedly told McClain to sign his real name and the football player responded with, "That is my name."

Lt. John Crouch, a Decatur police spokesperson, said that McClain was arrested for giving authorities a false name.

"I'm falsely accused of everything," McClain said to The Decatur Daily while leaving City Hall. "It's corrupt. It's terrible."

In Alabama it is illegal to give an officer a false name with the intent to mislead.

Lt. Courch added that if McClain had just signed his name properly then he would not have been taken into custody.

The football player was asked by the local media if he believed the police were trying to get him. He answered: "Yes. You said it. I answered it."

McClain apparently had a medical reason that his windows needed to be tinted so dark.

While at the station, McClain showed police a letter from a doctor saying he had "photosensitivity and needed maximum ultraviolet radiation protection to include window tinting."

Police said that was invalid because it wasn't written on a prescription form.

McClain was released shortly after on a $1,000 bail.
