'Love And Hip Hop Hollywood' Cast: Teddy Riley Refuses To Step In Nia & Soulja Boy's Drama, Throws Shade At Rapper [VIDEO]
We all saw Nia Riley’s superstar dad, Teddy Riley’s, concern about her relationship with Soulja Boy as the rapper is caught up in a love triangle with Nia’s friend on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. But Teddy has a few more words for Soulja.
Teddy sat down with VH1 Thursday and opened up about all of the drama his daughter is living out in front of millions each week.
He confessed that he refuses to watch it.
“I can’t stand to go for it…I went on the show to actually talk to her because she wouldn’t answer my calls about her situation with that guy. But, my daughter’s grown. I can’t make her.”
He went on to say that fans still expect him to do more when they see Soulja Boy freely cheat on Nia with her somewhat accepting it.
“I just get it on Twitter and Instagram, they’re like, ‘Man, you need to go an slap him…’ and I’m like, I can’t do nothing to that gentlemen because the simple fact she’s welcoming it. If she came to me and said, ‘Dad, this dude is trying to hurt me, and hurt me real bad, and I need to do something about it?’ Then something would be done about it.”
Still, he made it clear he won’t do anything to Soulja because when Teddy confronted Nia about it, she said she was okay.
He did add that if ever did ask his advice, he would be happy to tell her, “you need to leave him alone forever.”
As for Soulja Boy, the music mogul said he used to live the same lifestyle, so he understands that “he doesn’t know any better.”
Still, he did throw a bit of shade and said, “He don’t have any morals…He’s making whatever little money he’s making, doing what he’s doing, but he don’t understand there’s morals to that.”
Teddy said in the end he has decided to “leave it in God’s hands.”
