"Argo" actor Victor Garber publicly confirmed that he is gay after he was confronted about his sexuality in a recent interview.

Blogger Greg Hernandez talked to the "Alias" star and said he read on Wikipedia that Garber lived with his longtime boyfriend, Canadian model and artist Raineer Andreesen.

"I then found all kinds of photos of this most handsome couple together. I wondered, 'Did he come out publicly and I missed it?' " Hernandez wrote.

"I don't really talk about it but everybody knows," Garber, 63, said of Andreesen. "He's going to be out here with me for the SAG Awards."

Garber has addressed his relationship with Andreesen in the past. He said in an April 2012 interview, "My companion Rainer Andreesen and I have been together almost 13 years in Greenwich Village. We both love New York."

The actor is know for his roles in films ("Titanic," "Sleepless in Seattle") and also television; he stared in "The Firm" and "Damages" to name a few. He currently is on the NBC drama "Deception," which airs Mondays at 10/9 p.m. Central. He said getting the role was like "getting a dessert."

"Like getting what you hope for and rarely get. I love to work and I love the idea of going to work every day and also the fact that I get to do it in New York," he added. "It's like a gift. I feel like I won the lottery."

"It was smart, it was interesting, it was dynamic... It had everything I like, the complexity of the character, the family drama, all of the duplicity."

Ben Affleck, the director of "Argo," won the Golden Globe for Best Director at the awards ceremony on Jan. 13, beating Steven Spielberg, Quentin Tarantino, Ang Lee and Kathryn Bigelow. The film took home the award for Best Motion Picture- Drama.
