Jeremy Rinner is expecting his first children with his ex-girlfriend and he broke the news to actress Eva Longoria at the Golden Globes, sources told Us Weekly.

The 42-year-old "Bourne Legacy" star was overheard telling Longoria on Jan. 13 that he was "going to fly in when her water breaks" and Longoria responded with, "I'm so blown away."

Multiple sources confirmed to the magazine that an ex-girlfriend of the actor's, whose identity has not been revealed, is due to give birth next month. "They used to date but it wasn't serious," said one insider, adding that the pregnant ex-girlfriend is currently living in Renner's L.A. home. The same insider said Renner is "being ultra-secretive about it."

The Oscar-nominated actor denied rumors in April of 2012 that he was gay. He said to The Hollywood Reporter, "I want my personal life to be personal, and it's not f---king true."

In the same interview he spoke of ex-girlfriend Jes Macallan and why their relationship ended two years prior after them being together for four and a half years. She was 23 at the time and working at a film festival in Florida hoping to start an acting career.

"That was part of the issue," Renner said. "I was going through the 'Hurt Locker' campaign and she's like, 'Where do I get headshot?'"

Macallan is now married to actor Jason Gray-Stanford.

Renner has three films scheduled for a 2013 release, according to IMDb, one being a story of the childhood fairytale of Hansel and Gretel. He will also star in "Mission: Impossible 5" and "The Avengers 2," both slayed to come out in 2015.

He was not nominated this year at the Golden Globes but the director of his film "The Hurt Locker," Kathryn Bigelow, was in the category of Best Direction in a Motion Picture for her film "Zero Dark Thirty." The award went to Ben Affleck for "Argo."
