Even though he's used to being in the spotlight, Jamie Dornan is going to have to take a step back for his 50 Shades of Grey co-star Dakota Johnson. There are rumors that state the Hollywood actor might be jealous that Johnson has been shortlisted for a People's Choice Awards while the Irish-born actor has been shut out from the show as he failed to get a nod for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actor.

According to the Belfast Telegraph last week, Dornan is having a hard time getting recognized for any of his roles lately, as he's basically being ignored by the industry even though gotten praise for his role as Christian Grey in 50 Shades of Grey and as Paul Spector in the BBC drama, The Fall.

And while there's a slim chance that Dornan will be at the awards ceremony this year, Johnson will probably represent the cast and crew of their film as 50 Shades of Grey is up for the best dramatic movie of the year.

And if that weren't bad enough, Dornan also got shut out at the Royal Television Society Awards in Belfast this past week as well. The Fall, which also stars Hollywood actress Gillian Anderson, lost out on an award.

According to Belfast Live on Friday, the popular series was shut out by the crime thriller Line of Duty, which is also filmed in Northern Ireland.

So far, Dornan has not made any comments about the reports although he is scheduled to film the sequel to 50 Shades next year. Dakota Johnson will also be on hand to reprise her role as Anastasia Steele.
