'Fallout 4' News: Orders Accidentally Canceled By GAME Retailer In UK
Many unhappy gamers in the UK will not be receiving their copies of Fallout 4 today as planned due to glitches in a retailer's system.

On its official Facebook page, UK-based video game retailer GAME communicated the error with its customers: "We would ask that if you have not been able to replace your order by phone yet, don't worry your order is still reserved and being held for you in our distribution centre. We want to assure you that we are working through your requests and will get to your order as soon as we possibly can to ensure you receive your Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition."
The retailer's official response is that the glitch was on the part of PayPal and individual customers' banks. GAME believes these entities were declining payments, and has informed customers that their payments never went through.

A similar situation arose for GAME in August when gamers were unable to receive their preordered copy of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The retailer informed Gamespot that it was "totally normal" that a "small percentage" of preorders fell victim to such a glitch.
Of course, angry gamers took to the retailer's Facebook page to express their frustration. Many of them can't help but think that if such a situation had arisen in the past, GAME should have been ready for it to happen again and taken proper precautions.
Regardless, GAME promises to contact those whose orders did not go through individually to express its sincere regret that the mishap occurred, and is doing its best to ship out the preordered copies as soon as possible.
For now, I'd advise those who are yet to receive their copy of Fallout 4 to stay away from the spoiler-ridden Internet. Get some fresh air while you still can, before you voluntarily lock yourself away in your own personal vault.
