Two jets collided late Thursday night at the Miami International Airport with no injuries reported.

The two planes involved in the incident were an Aerolineas Argentinas Airbus and an Air France 777-300 plane. The jets collided between airport concourses J and H.

The Aerolineas Argentinas aircraft had 240 passengers aboard while the Air France jet had 350 passengers in the cabin, according to The Associated Press .

The Air France plane was getting ready to take off for a flight to Paris when the two collided.

One plane apparently had a damaged wingtip and the other sustained unspecified damage on the tail section. Both planes were quickly surrounded by rescue units and airport workers on the tarmac.

While no one was injured, hundreds of passengers were stranded and left in search of new flights.

MIA spokesman Marc Henderson announced that delays were to be expected as both planes were grounded.

"Neither plane will be flying tonight," Henderson said, according to The Daily Mail.

Passengers aboard the plane that arrived from Argentina were reportedly allowed to leave, but the Air France flight was delayed and passengers were forced to collect their luggage in order to try and catch an alternate flight.

Alex Legion, 24-year-old professional basketball player from Hungary, said that several passengers were yelling at Air France employees.

"The first altercation I saw was a group of guys that got fed up with people cutting in front of them," Legion said, according to The Miami Herald. "The second altercation I saw was when people from business class started to cut the economy line and a lady and a guy got into an argument."

The cause of the collision is not known at this time and an investigation is currently underway by authorities at the busy Florida airport.
