Kate Upton Ad for Super Bowl: She Makes WHO Wash the Car for Her? [VIDEO]
Kate Upton starred in the new Super Bowl 2013 advertisement for Mercedes-Benz but unlike past ones, she is not so much washing the car in slow-motion as she is watching guys do it for her.
In the released clip, with its final version expected to be much longer, Upton, 20, convinces a group of men in football jerseys to wash the all-new CLA for her. The footage begins with the camera following a trail from her legs all the way up to her face very slowly, showing off her model physic as she has her hands placed on her hips, striking a pose.
Text then appears on the screen that reads "Kate Upton washes the new Mercedes CLA in slow motion." However, the only slow-motion action Upton does is blow suds off of her hand. The car is then shown dripping in water, as if someone is washing it, but then men wearing red jerseys are shown and when the camera pans out, viewers realize the men are washing the car as Upton watches them. They washed the car in slow-motion but only because they were mesmerized by Upton's beauty.
A source told The New York Post in November 2012 the ad will also star singer and songwriter Usher.
The 2013 Super Bowl will take place in the Mercedes-Benz Super Dome in New Orleans on Feb. 3. Last year, the car company did not run a Super Bowl commercial. Beyonce will perform at the half time show along with fellow Destiny's Child group members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and Alicia Keys is confirmed to sing the national anthem.
Upton is reportedly dating MLB Detroit Tigers player Justin Verlander. They met while shooting a video game commercial in February 2012 and were spotted spending New Year's together at the Ritz-Carlton on St. Thomas.
