Sofia Vergara & Nick Loeb Seek Couple's Therapy Following 'Heated Argument'
Though they have yet to make it down the aisle, "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara and her fiance Nick Loeb are reportedly seeking couple's counseling.
On New Year's Eve, the couple had a "heated argument" in the Miami Beach nightclub Story while partying with friends that resulted in Loeb allegedly getting thrown out of the venue. The actress, 40, fell over and exposed her breast, which made headlines itself.
Though they have seen reconciled - they were seen kissing in public following the incident- a friend of Vergara's told Star magazine that the Columbian- born actress thought it would be best for her and Loeb to settle any issues before getting married.
"She decided they needed professional help before she would walk down the aisle," a source said. "They had their first session over the phone - and so far, so good!"
Vergara and Loeb got engaged in July but have not mentioned any wedding plans as of yet.
At the New Year's Eve party, Loeb was jealous that his evening with Vergara was hosted by the club's owner Chris Paciello, who dated the actress in the 1990s, according to Daily Mail. The situation escalated when Loeb found himself in a dispute with people sitting at a nearby table, after Vergara reportedly had her picture taken with a stranger.
The news report cited Page Six, which relayed details of the night:
"Nick seemed tense around Chris, who was hosting them in the VIP section, even though he and Sofia are just friends. In the early hours, Nick and Sofia were arguing before he got into a dispute with somebody at a neighboring table. Some pushing and shoving started.
"Sofia stepped in to try to calm the situation... she ended up getting pushed and shoved also. Her strapless dress was torn or pulled down in the melee, exposing her cleavage... her son Manolo who was so offended he left the club."
