Black Friday News 2015: More People Expressing Issues With Thanksgiving Hours & Major Crowds With Social Media Trend #BlackFridayin3Words ? [PHOTO, POLL]
Movements to try and keep retailers from opening their doors on Thanksgiving for Black Friday sales pop up every year with little success, but more and more shoppers may be deciding to revolt against the tradition of shopping either on Thanksgiving or the day after.
A new trend has popped up on Twitter called #BlackFridayin3Words, which features people sharing a feeling about the day-and many have expressed negativity about the shopping holiday-either because of the Thanksgiving hours that many stores keep, or by the behaviors of the crowds.
While there were a few who expressed some excitement over shopping once stores begin opening their doors to big sales Thursday and Friday, most expressed contempt over the fact that stores opened on Thanksgiving Day, and that hordes of people tended to show up at the stores to shop:
