The Samsung Galaxy S4 will have a feature where users can scroll pages with their eyes, according to latest rumors.

Samsung filed for two new trademarks in Europe on Jan 21 that are both patents for application software for smartphones, tablets and computers. The new technology applications with the European Union are currently called Eye Scroll and Eye Pause.

While there are no details on the filings for what the trademarks will actually do, their names give eager consumers a possible idea that they will be used for an advanced system using a person's eye to operate the device in a way currently not seen in other gadgets.

It is likely that the Eye Pause feature will track the direction of the user's glance and possibly stop a video if it is not being viewed after a certain amount of time.

The Eye Scroll feature will likely operate the same way and could be used for browsing a web page on the device, as a user's eyes scroll down the screen display. The tracking technology could then take the user to the next part of the web page.

No official word on the two new trademarks from Samsung or any other rumor clarification for the new flagship device. However, the company did unveil its new Exynos 5 Octa processor in a new video. The South Korean tech giant showed how the new processor will run and how it will use its cores to give users the best possible performance from a mobile phone.

The company announced that the new processor would be used for the products expected to be released by Samsung in 2013, which means it will likely be used in the production of the Samsung Galaxy S4. The Exynos 5 Octa is an 8-Core processor supposed to be very advanced compared to the technology currently used in the top smartphones on the market.

The processor will run on a Cortex-A7 chip for light tasks as well as a Cortex-A15 for more sophisticated necessities to conserve energy.

Some of the other rumored specs for the Samsung Galaxy S4 include a boasted 5-inch 1080p display, 8-core processor (two sets of quad-core processors), 13MP rear camera and an S-Pen in the box.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is rumored to be launched between the end of March and April 15, according to The Christian Post.
