Sri Lanka vs Australia, Live Streaming, Watch 1st T20I Online At 2 PM IST
For the first time during the tour, Sri Lanka will head into a series as clear-cut favorites when they take on Australia in the 1st T20 on Saturday.
The Lankans faltered in the Test series and tied in the ODIs, so it looks as though they'll do one better and prevail in its current two-match event.
The visiting team is actually ranked No. 1-ranked in the world, while the Aussies find themselves in the 7th position. Although both of the competitors played exceptionally well in the World Twenty 20, each squad lost to the West Indies in highly important matchups, Australia in the semis and the Lankans in the finals.
Sri Lanka's team is filled with veteran players, most of which participated in the Wt20. On the other hand, the Aussies are less experienced in terms of tournament play.
To top it off, the Sri Lanka side has prevailed in four out of the six T20s that the two clubs have battled it out in.
While the Lankans clearly have the momentum going into the game, the Aussies will surely be looking for an edge. They've called up Shaun Marsh and Aaron Finch from their Big Bash franchises and each will look to make an impact in T20 competition.
