The Manchester City squad will take on Stoke City in an FA Cup matchup on Saturday afternoon.

The two football sides last faced off against one another in the tournament in 2011. At that point in time, it was Man City who prevailed, courtesy of a Yaya Toure goal.

Nonetheless, Robert Mancini's squad has had a difficult time defeating the Potteries. Ironically enough, in their last five games versus Stoke City, the match has resulted in 1-1 tie after 90 minutes of play.

Man City will be closely monitoring Samir Nasri before the FA Cup fourth round trek to Stoke after the forward recently suffered a virus.

On a positive note, right-back Pablo Zabaleta looks to be fit after recovering from a foot injury in the team's Premier League victory against the likes of Fulham.

Defender Kolo Toure and midfielder Yaya Toure are still participating in the African Nations Cup with Ivory Coast while right-backs Micah Richards and Maicon (both have knee injuries) remain on the sidelines.

Although Man City has had its difficulties at the Britannia, midfielder James Milner isn't too concerned about the task at hand.

"Our thinking is, if you want to win the FA Cup, you have to beat everyone anyway. The fact we're taking more than 4,000 fans is really important because Stoke supporters make a lot of noise." he told Manchester Evening News.

"But our fans are brilliant and will give as good as they get when it comes to creating an atmosphere," Milner added.
