The West Ham United squad will take on Fulham in one of six Premier League matchups that will be played on Wednesday.
Fulham's newest acquisition Emmanuel Frimpong may be in line to make his debut in the respective contest. The 21-year-old footballer joined the team on a loan from Arsenal on Friday.
However, Simon Davies, who has returned to training after a stretch of being on the sidelines, could very well take the field at midfielder.
After a strong start to this season's campaign, the Cottagers currently find themselves in the midst of a struggle, currently sitting in 14th toward the bottom of the Premier League standings, just six points from the drop zone.
Martin Jol's squad has only been victorious in two of its last 15 league matches. While the team's current woes are indeed worrisome, Frimpong doesn't believe that it's a legitimate reason for Fulham to panic.
"The lads are very calm. I think when you are in a position like Fulham are at the moment you need players to be calm and not to panic. Every team goes through a patch in the season when you're not getting results," he told Fulham TV, according to Football.
"As long as the manager and the team know there are players that can perform and it is only a little slip I think we will be fine. We have some experienced players in the changing room, obviously the captain Brede Hangeland, Damien Duff and Dimitar Berbatov," Frimpong added.
