Office-Complex Shooting In Phoenix Leaves One In Critical Condition, Suspect Still At Large
A gunman reportedly shot and wounded three people at a Phoenix, Ariz. office complex on Wednesday and the police are now on the hunt for the suspect.
According to ABC News, one of the victims is currently in critical condition while the others' injuries were non-life threatening.
Police officers are currently in the midst of clearing out the office complex on the 7310 block of 16th Street, near Glendale Avenue.
Officials are saying that only one shooter was involved in the incident, and remains missing. However, they do know the name of the shooter and are at his residence.
A witness informed the news station that she heard several gunshots fired, and hid inside an IT closet with some other women. Another witness claims she heard between six and 10 shots fired.
Police believe that the suspected shooter headed inside the building in search of a specific person, but was confronted by someone else, at which time an altercation took place, stated Phoenix police Sgt. Tommy Thompson told ABC News affiliate KNXV-TV.
In addition to the suspect's home and the office complex, the police are also said to be conducting an investigation at a third scene, but it's still unclear how it's associated with the scene of the crime.
