David Beckham Underwear Ad: Shoots Skimpy H&M Ad, Directed by Guy Ritchie (VIDEO)
David Beckham is proving that men have the power to be sexy too. Beckham, 37, stars in a steamy new film short, directed by Guy Ritchie for his H&M Bodywear line. In the 1:40 long clip, Beckham takes on the role of an action hero running through the gardens of Beverly Hills wearing only an army green pair of briefs and white house slippers.
After saying goodbye to his wife, Beckham’s robe gets stuck in car door with his house keys inside the pocket. The door slams leaving Beckham locked out of the home. The film features Beckham tapping into his athletic side - hopping over fences through his neighbor’s backyards, swimming down an Olympic size pool, and even hopping over the hood of a car. Throughout the clip, Beckham can be seen tugging away at this tiny boxer briefs. The collection is currently in stores at H&M locations.
Guy Ritchie, a vet in the film industry was impressed with Beckham’s performance. “He makes the perfect leading man”, Ritchie said of Beckham.
Still, the allure of being a model still feels new to Beckham, AP reported. “No matter how many campaigns I do with H&M, I will never get used to seeing myself on billboards. It’s always a surprised to me when I see them. I’m lucky to work with such great photographers and stylists, so the images are always the best they can be.”
Beckham also relished the opportunity to work with Ritchie on the short. “It’s been great working with Guy. He’s one of my favorite directors, and also a friend, so it was amazing to work with him on my new Bodywear commercial for H&M”, he told the Associated Press.
The soccer player recently signed up to play with the Paris Saint-Germain in a three-month deal.
