Rihanna is the new face of Balmain and wears the designer's clothes in new advertisements for the French label's spring 2014 collection.

One ad shows the What Now singer dressed in a pink-and-white Kimono style coat accessorized with white lace gold-toed and heeled booties, while the other has the Barbados native is an off-the-shoulders denim-and-gold chain outfit.

The pop star-- who is the executive producer of the fashion reality show Styled to Rock and designs a signature collection for River Island -- announced her new campign gig Tuesday on Twitter.

Balmain's creative director, Olivier Rousteing, had only good things to say about the 25-year-old singer.

"When the woman that inspires you wears your creations, your vision feels complete," Rousteing told Women's Wear Daily, while describing the "icon" of his generation as fresh and modern. "Rihanna embodies my vision of Balmain in this new campaign. In front of the camera, she makes you feel like she is the only girl in the world."

With more slated to debut in January, the ads were shot last month in New York by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Atelier Franck Durand took the helms in terms of the creative direction for the campaign, with styling by Rihanna's personal stylist Mel Ottenberg.

The first of Rihanna's Balmain ads debuted a day after the music video was released for Monster, her musical collaboration with Eminem.
