Can Dance Moms survive without the show's star dancer, Maddie Ziegler? That's what fans are wondering as there's a new rumor that says the reality television show doesn't stand a chance of surviving if Maddie Ziegler decides to walk away.

According to OK! Magazine on Friday, controversial dance instructor Abby Lee Miller is worried that she is going to have to find a new star on top of her pyramid if Ziegler decides to leave after season six. Sources close to the young celebrity say she is currently thinking about leaving reality television for good to pursue a career in Hollywood.

A source close to the 13-year-old dancer said, "Acting is something she's really excited to pursue and [Maddie] is in high demand."

And while Ziegler is looking to the future with high hopes, Miller is worried about what's next for her. Insiders say that if Ziegler leaves, Miller is going to have to look for a new star to help carry the show, and that won't be an easy feat. What's more, Miller has a handful of problems of her own, including her fraud and bankruptcy case, which might see her end in up in jail, just like fellow reality television star Teresa Giudice.

Fans are worried that if Ziegler leaves and Miller ends up behind bars, Dance Moms might be gone for good. So far, neither star has made any comments about the report and the Lifetime network hasn't confirmed if the show will be coming back for a seventh season.
