The plot for the midseason premiere of season 11 of Criminal Minds has finally been revealed.

According to the synopsis for the episode, titled 'Entropy,' it seems like Dr. Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) will be solving the case of The Dirty Dozen.

Here's the official synopsis:

"As Reid returns fromm Las Vegas, Nevada, he is put into a dangerous situation to help the team, by playing a vital role in what will be an elaborate, delicate strategy to eliminate from the world the network of hitmen who have threatened Garcia - the mysterious silk road derivative, "The Dirty Dozen" - once and for all."

Many believed the midseason finale of this chapter of Criminal Minds would wrap the Dirty Dozen case, but as that was not the case, speculation about where this storyline is headed has sparked up.

The midseason finale, titled 'Future Perfect,' did hint at the fact that the Dirty Dozen are surely on the BAU's radar, as David Rossi (Joe Mantagna) was heard saying that the team will surely target and take down the gang. Additionally the team has chanced upon crucial information that could be the undoign of the Dirty Dozen. Master Herald reported how the BAU might go about doing this.

'Entropy' will air on CBS on Jan. 13.
