Brandi Glanville Hopes LeAnn Rimes Reconciliation, 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Star Admits
Currently touring to promote her new book, Brandi Glanville stopped by The Today Show Tuesday and discussed her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and his current wife LeAnn Rimes, whom the reality star said she hopes to reconcile with one day.
In her book Drinking & Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders, the Bravo television star recounted her divorce with Cibrian, which took place after he had an affair with country singer Rimes. Together Glanville and Cibrian have two sons - Mason, 8, and Jake, 5.
When asked by Today host Willie Geist whether she thought if was "appropriate" to label the father of her children a "made-for-TV actor" and a "pretty face," in her new book, Glanville responded with the following:
"I don't know if I do everything that's appropriate in life. The fact of the matter is, that is my opinion.
"One day all of this will be available for my kids to read and I think what they're going to take away from it is that throughout this entire time, I've never said a bad word about their dad in front of them."
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star admitted that she has not had any kind of relationship with Cibrian for "a year" but that she hopes one day to have a relationship with Rimes, for the sake of her children.
"At the end of the road, do I want to sit down next to them at my son's graduation? Yes," Glanville said.
In her book Glanville discussed in detail the fall of her marriage to Cibrian, his affair with Rimes, and events following the divorce, among other things. She revealed in January that one part of the book discusses the plastic surgery she got after the divorce that she made Cibrian pay for. Glanville and Cibrian divorced in 2009 soon after it was revealed that he had an affair with the country singer, whom he met on the set of their Lifetime television movie Northern Lights. At the time, both were married to other people: Cibrian and Glanville already had their two children and Rimes was married to Dean Sheremet.
