UFC on Fuel TV is set to open with a true international showdown, as top Korean welterweight prospect Dong Hyun Kim will duke it out with Afghanistan's Siyar Bahadurzada on Saturday, amongst other notable matches.

Doug "Stun Gun" Kim is a premier welterweight contender, and for all intensive purposes, a potential threat to Georges St. Pierre. However, Kim is still on the outside looking in, due to a couple losses he's suffered in the recent past.

The fighter has two defeats to two top-ranked welterweights in the last few years. One of his losses was to Carlos Condit, who surprised Kim with a flying knee in the first round of their battle. The other time Kim faltered was to Demian Maia when he suffered a rib injury just seconds into the matchup.

Many experts consider Kim's defeat to Condit as the only legit loss of his career. In his last bout, the fighter dominated Paulo Thiago, making short work of him on the ground, which has been a strength of his throughout the majority of his UFC career.

On the other side of the octagon, Bahadurzada shouldn't be taken lightly. He's a veteran of Japan's Shooto and Sengoku promotions, so he will most likely not go down easy.

The UFC on Fuel main card is set to begin at 10 p.m. EST on March 2. The preliminary fights can be viewed on Facebook by CLICKING HERE.
