It's not every day that a basketball player scores 50 points in a game, but for Baylor star Brittney Griner, that day came against Kansas State yesterday with a slam dunk.

Griner, a two-time All American and a senior, earned a win for her team and a Big-12 record for most points in a game by a woman college basketball player, according to SB Nation.

According to the Associated Press, Griner, who is 6-foot-8, said of her epic game performance, "It means everything to just go out with a bang like that. Got a dunk finally at home, scored 50. I mean there's not a better way to go out."

When Griner hit 46 points in the game, SportsCenter tweeted "Brittney Griner is UNSTOPPABLE," which was quickly followed by "50 FOR BRITTNEY! Griner posts career high and Big 12 single-game record 50 points in Baylor blowout of Kansas State."

The Baylor Lady Bears beat the Kansas State Wildcats 90-68 for Baylor's last game at home. They are off to the Big-12 Championships and the team's first game on March 9.

This is the second time the Baylor Lady Bears have won an undefeated conference title.
