It looks like Maddie Ziegler is making a lot of radical changes in her life these days. A new report says the 13-year-old dance prodigy is leaving the Abby Lee Dance Company and her reality television days behind her as she's setting her sights on much bigger and better projects and goals.

According to Naughty Gossip on Tuesday, Ziegler is leaving supposedly leaving Dance Moms so she can concentrate on an upcoming film by Australian pop star Sia. The "Elastic Heart" singer is writing and directing a movie called Sister and has asked Ziegler to be her star.

Sources say that Ziegler's mother, Melissa Gisoni, made the announcement during a recent taping and told the cast along with the other dance moms that they won't be returning to the show. What's more, Ziegler's little sister Mackenzie won't be coming back, either.

Back in November, Sia told The Hollywood Reporter print edition that she wrote the script to the film nearly eight years ago, but didn't tell anyone about it until now.

She said, "I was too embarrassed to tell anyone I wanted to make a movie because I thought it would be seen as a vanity project because I was a singer. And then last year, after I made the 'Chandelier' video, I realized that I was pretty good at directing, so I felt a little bit braver."

So far, Ziegler's dance instructor Abby Lee Miller hasn't made any comments about her star dancer leaving her crew.
