Kanye West Video Game: Rapper Sparks Up More Controversy [VIDEO]
Between declaring Bill Cosby’s innocence and talking about hooking up with Taylor Swift after he “made her famous,” it seemed like Kanye West couldn’t do anything else to bring controversy this week. But he has proved us wrong.
How One Man Possibly Delayed Kanye West's Album Release
He revealed the launch of a new video game Thursday while he kicked off season three of his Yeezus line and debuted his new album The Life of Pablo.
News of the game, titled Only One, isn’t what sparked as much controversy as the content. (Only One comes from his hit song about his daughter North West, from the perspective of his late mother, Donda West).

He told the audience, “I worked on a video game and I wanted to show y’all. The idea of the game is my mom traveling through the gates of heaven.”
He went as far as showing a teaser for the game; which does indeed show his mother riding on a horse with wings and entering he gates of what is supposed to be heaven. He then went off about how difficult it was to compete this process before playing the clip for fans again.
He added, “That’s not easy to do man. Y’all be acting that [stuff] is regular. No you don’t understand. I go out to meet everybody in San Fran, and they’ll diss the [mess] out of me. And I’ll be like, ‘I wanna make a game,’ and they’ll be like ‘[forget] you.’ That was hard to do, bro.”
