South Carolina Primary Feb 20: How To Watch Live Results For Trump, Cruz, Rubio & More Online
The South Carolina primary is going down today for the Republican party, with Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and more facing off yet again.
South Carolina voters will take to their local polling stations today to vote for their Republican candidate of choice. The latest polls show Trump with a lead over his five Republican competitors, though the lead is varying depending on the poll. Some polls, such as the Emerson College poll, show a 17-point lead over Rubio, while others, like from the Augusta Chronicle, show a mere three-point lead over Rubio.
So while Trump is the prohibitive frontrunner to win the South Carolina primary, it's possible that Cruz or Rubio could upset. As for other contenders, Jeb Bush is in fourth place in all Friday polls while Ben Carson and John Kasich are polling in fifth or last place depending on the particular poll.
Polls opened at 7 a.m. ET today and will remain open until 7 p.m. Results will be counted through the afternoon are expected to be fully in by 10 p.m. ET.
