Secret Anti-Trump Donor Revealed: Cubs & Politicians Collide Over Unmasking & Threats, Whose Side Are You On [POLL]?
The biggest donor behind the Republican anti-Trump super PAC is a mystery no more.
While the majority of the GOP has steered clear of criticizing the current frontrunner, the Our Principles PAC used more than $4 million to run anti-Trump ads from Iowa to South Carolina. Three million of those dollars came from Marlene Ricketts, according to MSN.
Ricketts hails from the very family that owns to Cubs, but fans of the Chicago team have been rather quiet in the wake of the reveal. It is Trumps comments on the matter that have sparked the real controversy. The politician made overt threats to the Ricketts on Twitter Monday morning.
