Irrational Games unveiled the latest trailer for BioShock Infinite.

The trailer titled "False Shepard" shows some of the gameplay for the highly anticipated shooter along with protagonist Booker DeWitt battling through the floating city of Columbia.

It also shows DeWitt's attempted escape with captive character Elizabeth, according to Xbox 360 Achievements.

Marketer Simon Turner of publisher 2K Games was quoted by MVCUK that there are high hopes for the game and that it will be "like no other shooter out there."

Turner added that overall work put into the game will likely be appreciated by fans of the series stating: "Not only does it demonstrate the technical quality that gamers expect, but the story and characters invite you into a world so rich and immersive that people will be talking about it for a long time to come."

The "False Shepard" trailer follows the "City in the Sky" preview that introduced some of the initial gameplay and story line for BioShock Infinite.

The latest game in the BioShock series takes place in the year 1912 in the technologically advanced city in the clouds known as Columbia, according to the game's website. Gamers take over the role of DeWitt who uncovers some of the darkest secrets of the city as well as the mysterious girl Elizabeth who he helps try and escape.

Users can also aid DeWitt's quest through the use of special powers known as "Vigors" that give players unique abilities similar to the Plasmids found in the original game, according to IGN.

BioShock Infinite is the third game in the franchise with the first released in 2007 by Irrational and the sequel developed in 2K Games.

Fans will not have much longer to wait as the game is slated for release on March 26 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
