Allen Engstrom of Arkansas quickly found out who had his missing iPad when a woman started taking photos of her face, and the photos started automatically backing up on his phone. Then, he posted the photos to Facebook.

Engstrom accidentally left his iPad on a plane when he was flying from Phoenix to Denver, according to ABC 7 News. Then a month later, his son saw a picture of the woman on his iPod and showed his mother.

Engstrom said the woman probably doesn't know that her selfies are being backed up by his iPhone, allowing him to see them.

"We finally figured out that must be the new owner of my iPad," Engstrom said to the news station.

Engstrom has been posting the face portraits of the woman onto his Facebook page under mobile uploads, hoping it will help identify her so he can get his iPad back since he had his iPad tracking settings turned off.

Under one of the photos, Engrtom wrote, "The wonderful person who snaked my iPad continues to take glamour shots of herself apparently unaware that they are backing up to my iPhone. So naturally I'm blasting them out to the entire world. Enjoy!" That photo, uploaded on March 11, has been shared by over 1,700 people and liked by over 700 Facebook users.

Engstrom just hopes the woman gives it back. "At anytime she could contact me and say hey I've got your IPAD, would you like it back? I would gladly accept it back. I hope she does the right thing," he told the station.
