Gwyneth Paltrow Talks Aging Gracefully and Living Healthy
Hollywood can place a lot of pressure on women intent on keeping up appearances, but Gwyneth Paltrow plans to age gracefully.
"I'll take my wrinkles," she told Harper's Bazaar. "I don't like the Botox thing."
The 39-year-old actress graces the cover of the magazine's March issue.
Paltrow says she sticks to "little things" such as lasers and facials when it comes to her beauty routine. The married mother of two also says she maintains her svelte figure with 90-minute morning workouts that include dance aerobics, along with 12-week detox programs every few months, where she cuts dairy, gluten and sugars from her diet.
"I'll wake up exhausted," Paltrow said. "I can feel my adrenal cortex being really high. When I get into bed, my heart will pound, my skin won't be good, I'll feel cranky, and then I'll just know it's time."
But the actress still allows herself some indulgences.
"I like bread and cheese and wine, and that makes my life fun and enjoyable," Paltrow said.
