The Liverpool side will take on the relegation-threatened Southampton on Saturday afternoon in a football Premier League match at St. Mary's.

While Southampton's forward line has been a bright spot amongst its struggles, Mauricio Pochettino was still upset to have missed out on acquiring Philippe Coutinho from Internazionale in January. The Brazilian player, who had a loan stint under Pochettino at Espanyol, ended up inking a deal with Liverpool and is more than likely to be on the opposing side against Southampton.

"Couthino has that same quality that Ronaldo and Messi have, be he has much to prove yet," said Pochettino, according to Caught Offside.

Fortunately for Southampton, they have no new injuries to deal with on their side. Although Dan Fox and Steven Davis had missed last weekend's 0-0 draw against Norwich, they'll both be back on the field for the game against Liverpool.
