Real Madrid will put its hopes of a Champions League quarterfinal berth on hold when they square off against the Mallorca side in a La Liga league game on Saturday.

Madrid has won seven straight matches in all of its competitions to help get them into second in the league. However, assistant coach Aitor Karanka has said that the squad won't be taking Mallorca for granted.

Having prevailed over powerhouse Manchester United in the round of 16, Real found out on Friday that Galatasaray will undoubtedly present the next hurdle they encounter to obtaining their 10th European Cup. There's little doubt that realizing that goal is the priority until the campaign comes to an end.

"It would be a mistake for us to think that, because we have hit some form and after the games against Barcelona and Manchester, all we have to do to beat Mallorca is turn up," he told Real Madrid's official website.
