Victor Ortiz planned on incorporating his dancing in the ring to his dancing on the DWTS stage and he did.

Ortiz was light as a butterfly and he had a lot of fluidity in his foxtrot with partner Lindsay Arnold.

Ortiz spoke about his troubled upbringing before he started to dance and said his parents abandoned him and his younger brother at an early age. However, the boxer showed a lighter side to him while performing with new dance pro Arnold.

Judge Bruno Tonioli said he had a combination of boyish charm and Latino passion on the dance floor. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba said he had great posture.

However, Len Goodman said he wanted more of a wow factor. In the end, the duo scored 18, every judge gave them a 6.

With Arnold, 19, who is new to the show, Ortiz, 26, was favored by Buddy TV because of his boxing background. The former WBC Welterweight Champion should have great footwork as an advantage.

His nickname may be Vicious, but during DWTS, he was all smiles.
