NBC's The Biggest Loser ended its 14th season on Monday when the weight loss competition named Dannielle "Danni" Allen of Wheeling, who weighed in at 137 pounds, the winner.

Wheeling took home $250,000.

On March 11, Gina McDonald was eliminated, and Allen and Jeff Nichols were chosen as the two finalists of the competition. Jackson Carter and Joe Ostaszewski were also given the chance to be voted into the competition.

Last week's show looked back at the progress the final five contestants made over the past eleven weeks. Allen, 26, from Wheeling, Chicago said the journey is more than about losing weight.

"I feel whole again and it just took clearing out all that mental stuff that I had going on to get to this place," she said.

"(Danni) has been on her own from so early in the season, and there (was) every chance that she could have been eliminated," said host Alison Sweeney, according to Today. "She stuck with it and she worked so hard, so she knows what it's like to be up against the odds and to overcome that. So I think she's going to be a big threat tonight."
