Josh Duggar 2016: '19 Kids & Counting' Family Accused Of Trying To Cash In On Scandals [VIDEO]
No matter what they do or say, it looks like the Duggar family just can't catch a break with their critics these days. In fact, many are accusing the reality television stars of cashing in on Josh Duggar's multiple sex scandals, as they are now promoting their new spin-off shows and still talking about everything that went down last summer.
In a new interview with ABC News, Josh's siblings—including John-David and Jessa Duggar-Seewald—open up about their new lives and insist that they've moved on, with the cameras close by, of course.
Asked about how they are coping after it was revealed that Josh not only sexually molested his sisters when he was a teen, but that he also cheated on his wife Anna, John-David responded, "The devil took his best shot. And he tried to take our whole family down, but God is really used to this."
He further explained, "Instead of tearing us apart as a family, he's using it to draw us together. We've forgiven and we're moving on, and we're looking to the future."
When host Paula Farris asked Jessa, "How can people be assured that this isn't about family, this isn't about money?" she responded that it's because they simply want to be open about their story.
She said, "If we can encourage even one other person who's struggling, then that needs to be our goal. We're had a lot of healing in our family these past few months and we're ready to move forward and share our lives."
The new season of Jill and Jessa: Counting On premieres on the TLC on March 15. Many reports indicate that Josh won't be making an appearance on the program.
