During an intermission of the Atlanta Hawks vs. Dallas Mavericks Monday night game, a Hawks cheerleader slipped and hit her head on the court. She was carried off in a stretcher.

The cheerleader, who is being identified only as Kristen, was treated at Atlanta Medical Center and released later in the night, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Hawks coach Larry Drew said after the game, "Our best wishes are with the cheerleader who had the incident on the court. She is doing well, from what I'm told. We are hoping that she is OK and are keeping things in perspective."

During the intermission, Kristen kicked up her right leg and seemed to have lost her footing with her left leg. Her left leg slid and she landed hard on the side of her head. She didn't move as the paramedics came out to treat her.

The Hawks lost to the Mavericks 127-113. The Hawks are two games behind the Brooklyn Nets for the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.

According to her bio, Kristen is a pre-k teacher and her car, which she named Mercy after the Kanye West song, is Hawks red.
