The Miami Heat (52-14) will look to build on its 23-game winning streak when it takes on the Cleveland Cavaliers (22-45) at the Quicken Loans Arena on Wednesday night.

The defending 2011-12 NBA champion Heat along with one-time Cavalier LeBron James will look to continue its domination against an injury-riddened Cleveland team.

The massive winning streak nearly came to a halt on Monday night, but James saved it with a game-winning jump shot in the final seconds of their game against the Boston Celtics.

"It means a lot. I know the history of the game. To be sitting in second place right now ... for us to be there and doing it the way we want to do it, it means a lot," James told ESPN.

Fortunately for Miami, it also means that the playoff-bound teams Miami are scheduled to face will be far and few between, as five of their next six games are against clubs with some of the worst records this season, starting with the Cavs.
