Despite Keo Motsepe's dismal record thus far on Dancing With the Stars, Jodie Sweetin was not worried when it was announced he was going to be her partner.

Sweetin and Motsepe performed their first dance of the season Monday night, a tango set to Demi Lovato's song "Confident." They received a score of 20 out of 30 from the judges, putting them ahead of three other celebs—Mischa Barton, Doug Flutie and Geraldo Rivera.

It seems unlikely that Sweetin will be eliminated in the first few weeks, considering her Full House fanbase and the fact that she didn't totally embarrass herself in the ballroom. This will likely make her Motsepe's most successful partner. The dancer has had some rotten luck since joining in season 19. He was eliminated first alongside partners Lolo Jones in season 19 and Chaka Khan in season 21 and eliminated second in season 20 with Charlotte McKinney.

Sweetin wrote about Motsepe in her People blog on Monday.

"When I first walked in to the rehearsal room and found out that I would be partnered with Keo, I was thrilled," she admitted. "I did have friends ask if I was worried because he's never made it very far in the competition, but I take that as a positive. I am so glad that I'm with someone who is as hungry for the win as I am."

The actress added that she and Motsepe "hit it off" from the first day. "Keo not only cares about how I learn the dance, he also [is] interested in how I am doing as a person and what is going on in my life outside the ballroom."

"He's already gotten to know me so well. He can tell when I'm tired or frustrated and knows how to give me what I need from a teacher. Yes it's a competition, but we are also focusing on having fun and making the most of every experience."

The first elimination of the season will take place next Monday.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
