'Once Upon a Time' Season 5 News: Will Mary Margaret & David's Choice 'Bite Them' Eventually? [VIDEO]
Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) and David (Josh Dallas) are being pulled in various directions in the coming installments of ABC's Once Upon a Time.
The Charmings are trying their best to be in various places at once, with the best of intentions. They are helping with lost souls in the Underworld, but they also want to get back to Storybrooke to be with their son, Neal.
The decision to stay in the Underworld for now is not an easy one, as Dallas recently suggested to TVLine.
"Yeah, it's not the best parenting choice," Dallas noted, referring to Neal being left behind in Storybrooke. "It's not a great thing that they left him behind, and they're feeling that."
They are also trying to make sure they don't repeat history, like they did with Emma (Jennifer Morrison).
"They don't want to make a mistake like they did the first time with Emma," Dallas noted. "So now that they've left Neal, they've got to try to get back to him."
The pair will attempt to send a message to Neal through the guidance of the Blind Witch (Emma Caulfield).
"They're being pulled in many, many directions," Dallas observed. And ultimately, temporarily abandoning their son "might bite them in the ass."
There's all sorts of family drama to come on Once Upon a Time. Rumple (Robert Carlyle) is trying to be with Belle (Emilie de Ravin) again - who is currently expecting his child. Zelena (Rebecca Mader) is also slated to return in this episode as she and sister Regina (Lana Parrilla) get into a fight.
We also learn from flashbacks that Zelena had an intimate connection with Hades (Greg Germann) - which may actually come in handy in the present day situation our heroes are facing.
Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
