'General Hospital' (GH) Spoilers: Hayden Uses Her Shooting Against Nikolas [VIDEO]
Her secret and the truth about her identity have officially been revealed and have potentially cost her the marriage to Nikolas (Tyler Christopher), but Hayden (Rebecca Budig) may find herself resorting to dirty tactics to prevent retribution from him for all of her lies on General Hospital.
After deciding she wouldn't in fact leave Port Charles and would stay to fight for what she wanted, despite the truth about her being Rachel Berlin getting out, she will go to see Nikolas to try and beg for forgiveness—but she won't find him being overly receptive to her pleas.
"You've been lying to me the whole time!" He rages in a preview clip for the Friday, April 1 episode.
When she realizes that he's going to continue using her lies against her, she may then decide she can play dirty and turn the tables on him by revealing that she knows the truth about her shooting last year—and that he had hired a hitman to go after her to make sure she didn't tell Jason (Billy Miller) the truth about his identity.
If Nikolas realizes she actually knows the truth about her shooting and has evidence supporting her claims which could force him to lose everything, he could quickly agree to work things out with her for the sake of the truth not getting out.
However, someone else could begin digging into the truth about the shooting as well, especially now that Tracy (Jane Elliott) has revealed she was going to use Rachel to get ELQ back from Nikolas. Jason has decided he wants to do whatever it takes to secure the family company finally gets back into their hands, and as he and Sam (Kelly Monaco) try to work things out, they will reflect back on the shooting and the fact that Nikolas was desperate to keep the truth about Jason being alive a secret, and could realize that Hayden was the person who was supposed to be shot all along—not Jason.
"What if Hayden was the target all along?" Sam asks in the clip.
General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
