They've gone through a large amount of drama recently, but threats against her life won't keep Ava (Maura West) from still seeking custody of her daughter Avery, while Morgan's (Bryan Craig) insistence she stay away won't deter Kiki (Hayley Erin) on General Hospital.

Kiki was shot on the pier during the foiled arms deal because she was trying to go after and help Morgan, and since the incident, she has been recovering in the hospital while Morgan has been receiving treatment at the Freedman Clinic for his bipolar disorder. Now, after learning why he hasn't been by to visit her, Kiki has managed to convince Ava to sneak her out of the hospital for a little while so she can visit Morgan. But, despite his initial excitement over seeing her again, he shocked her when he insisted she leave and stay far away from him.

Now, as he continues to insist that she keep away from him for good, and for her own sake, Kiki will realize he is acting this way because he still isn't adjusting to his medication—and she will assert herself and remind Morgan that she will never let him push her away entirely.

"You need to get better because I need you in my life," she says to him in a preview clip for the Thursday, March 31 episode.

Meanwhile, outside the room the two are talking in, Ava and Carly (Laura Wright) are having a heated discussion about what will happen to Avery, who has been staying with Sonny (Maurice Benard) while Kiki recovers, after Kiki is eventually released from the hospital. And when Carly continues to attack her enemy for wanting to expose Avery to the dangerous lifestyle she lives, Ava will quickly defend herself against the accusations, which could also be easily lobbed against Sonny as well.

"I am not the monster you seem to think I am," Ava says in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
