Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William are scheduled to go on a six-day state trip to India and Bhutan, but is the Duchess having a change of heart?

That's what rumors are suggesting as there's a new report that says the royal mother-of-two is having second thoughts about the upcoming trip simply because she doesn't want to leave her two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, behind at home.

According to People Magazine on Monday, this will be the first time that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be apart from their kids and it looks like it's taking a toll on Kate. Sarah Dixon, a maternity nurse who has worked with friends of the couple in the past, says that the royal couple plan on keeping in touch while Prince George and Princess Charlotte stay home with their nannies, along with their trusted head nanny Maria Turrion Borrallo.

She says that Maria will be there to "keep the stability and keep their routine in place—which is paramount" while also adding, "They will keep in touch with Skype, and I'm sure Maria will do a diary for them while they are away with pictures and photos, any moments they might have missed. She will know that while they are away, the parents need extra reassurance."

What's more, Dixon says that the week-long separation might not be so bad on Prince George, who has learned to become quite dependent and confident while in pre-school.

Still, she adds that Kate will be the one who will have the hardest time with this trip.

"I think Kate will find it quite hard," says Dixon. "It's the first time she has left Charlotte, and at that age they are doing new things every day. That's often very difficult for parents because they feel they have missed out on certain milestones."

So far the Duchess herself has not made any comments about the trip. Stay tuned with Enstars for all the latest news on the British royal family right here.
