Wyoming Caucus Live Results: How To Watch Numbers For Hillary Clinton & Bernie Sanders Online
The Wyoming Democratic caucuses are kicking off today - here's how and when you can watch the live results come in online.
Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will face off yet again today, this time in Wyoming. Polls began at 7 a.m. MT, which is 9 a.m. ET, and they are set to close at 7 p.m. MT, or 9 p.m. ET.
While winning a state is always a good thing, Wyoming holds the unfortunate distinction of lowest total delegates in the nation. At just 14 pledged delegates, the state probably won't make a huge difference in the long run, but for Sanders especially, every delegate counts at this point.
Based on past primaries and caucuses, Sanders is likely to win in Wyoming. The Vermont senator has done really well in states that are predominately white, as well as states that hold caucuses, both of which should benefit him in Wyoming. Clinton has the support of all four unpledged Wyoming delegates (a.k.a. superdelegates), and could further her lead even more if she were to win in the state.
This will be the final caucus/primary before New York on April 19. Candidates on both sides of the race have set their sights on the Empire State due to the whopping amount of delegates. For the Democrats there are 247 up for grabs, while there are 95 on the Republican side.
