Are Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner thinking about putting their romance back where it belongs?
On Tuesday, E! News got some insight on the rumored exes who were supposedly seeing each other earlier this year. It was mentioned that the One Direction singer and reality star are "hanging out again," but they're not back together.
"Kendall is not Harry's girlfriend, but there's still something there," a source said. "Kendall is very private about it and doesn't like to talk about Harry. Harry adores her and is very cute with her."
It was also mentioned that their reunion is "very recent" and they are "off and on" right now.
Ever since the two were spotted having lunch together in Los Angeles earlier this week, there has been a lot of speculation on what the status is. According to a recent report from Hollywood Life, the two might be hanging out, but it's strictly platonic.
"Kendall will always be friends with Harry because she just loves his roguish charm," a source said. "But in terms of being his girlfriend, she's obviously not in that state of mind with him. So they weren't getting to the bottom of all the recent romances he's been having, and they certainly weren't amorous towards each other."
If there is something romantic happening, it might be a while before it leads to any kind of relationship.
"Kendall just loves his company and thinks he's a cool dude, so there's no harm in getting lunch with him," the source said. "She won't take him back that easy though."
Another report from Hollywood Life claimed the reason why it didn't work out in the first place is because Jenner was ready for something serious, but Styles wasn't.
"At this point in her life, Kendall is ready for a serious relationship," an insider told the site. "She thought she could just go with the flow with Harry, but it's just not making her happy. Harry is too loosey-goosey for her. It's pretty much what happened the first time around for them; Kendall wanted more and Harry wasn't ready to fully commit."
