Ciara, Future 2016: Tamar Braxton Thinks Singer Was Being 'Petty' [VIDEO]
Tamar Braxton is one of the latest celebrities to speak on Ciara and Future’s most recent drama.
Ciara made headlines this week after she refused to say Future’s name while announcing the nominees for the Top Rap Artist category for the Billboard Awards with Ludacris. She named the other rappers just fine but got completely silent when Future’s name popped up, causing her co-host rapper Ludacris to chime in and say it for her.
Braxton admitted she thought Ciara was “being petty,” but only because she knows she “would have responded the same way.”
“When I’m done I’m done…I don’t wanna hear your name…I don’t wanna speak your name…We’re not friends get out of my face.”
Still, Braxton added that Ciara should not have let her drama with Future impact her gig with Billboard.
“If we had work and I gotta be professional, I’ll act like we’re cool… But we’re not gonna be talking. We’re not gonna share a sushi plate for lunch.”
Loni Love pointed out the times Future publicly called out Ciara.
Also going on with Future and Ciara-- Future has filed a counter-claim against his ex-fiancee and mother of his child after she sued him for $15 million claiming that his rants against her was negatively impacting her career.
Apparently Future thinks that Ciara’s singing career has been suffering long before their drama and pointed out in his lawsuit that she hasn’t won any awards in about three years, The Jasmine Brand reported Wednesday.
