Draya Michele And Orlando Scandrick: Star Gives Birth! Talks Why She Kept It A Secret & How Beyonce Helped [VIDEO]
Congrats to former Basketball Wives LA star Draya Michele as her and her fiance, Orlando Scandrick, welcomed their first child together!
News broke Thursday that Draya actually gave birth to the baby boy Friday, April 8.
Draya confirmed the news on Twitter and explained why she decided to keep the baby’s, whose name is Jru (Drew) birth under wraps for a few days.
“Thank you EVERYONE for the blessings and well wishes !!!!!” she wrote. “I had him last week and I just wanted to take that time to enjoy him as my own little special gift.”

She added that there was one more incentive to holding off on announcing his birth.

Well she definitely got the pictures out and took some of the snapshots just in time. She revealed on Instagram that she gave birth just five hours after one of the photo shoots, in which she twerked to Beyonce’s Check On It.
She added the caption, “There’s no such thing as too much @beyonce in one day, unless you’re pushing 9 months pregnant. I Def went into labor exactly 5 hours after this……… so with that being said, @beyonce you are Jru’s fairy godmother, Thanks”

She shared her final maternity picture just hours before.
“Last maternity photo!!!!!!!!!!” she wrote. “Our family’s youngest prince is here. We love you Jru 4.8.2016”

This is the fourth child for Draya and Scandrick’s blended family. She has a son from a previous relationship and Scandrick has twin daughters.
