Human Ken Rodrigo Alves: Plastic Surgery Celeb Gives Update On Infection, How Is He Doing? [PHOTO, VIDEO]
Rodrigo Alves gave his fans an update on how he's doing following his recent infection.
According to Mirror, the man known as 'Human Ken' with his multiple plastic surgeries, was taken to the hospital after he contracted a flesh-eating infection following a nose job. He explained the details where it sounded pretty serious.
"I had a nose reconstruction three months ago and it seems like the new cartilage has been rejected by my body," Alves said. "It is terrible and I am trying to go back to London as soon as possible for help. It got harder and harder to breathe and now my nose is completely blocked. A horrible hole has appeared in my nose and the infection is eating it. If it does not stop, it could eat my whole face. I am very worried."
On Saturday though, Alves took to his Instagram page to let everyone know that he's doing much better as he boards a plane to his home in Marbella. At this point, he is "very well" and feeling "great."
Alves recently spoke with Mirror on his plastic surgery procedures where he said that he plans to keep "improving" his look regardless of what anyone thinks.
"I feel no shame in how I invest my own money," he said. "I was born in the wrong body. My soul never matched up with the rest of me, and now it does. I never set out to look like Ken. But people have increasingly commented on how similar we are. I'm happy with my look, but I will continue with surgery."
According to the site, the celeb has had more than 40 operations.
