Actress Lindsay Lohan's triangle tattoo might be a symbol for friendship, reports say.

The tattoo on the inside of her right arm was first seen during her court appearance in January 2013, according to E! The tattoo is of a red triangle inside another red triangle and underneath are the words "What Dreams May Come."

New York Post reported Friday that Lohan and her friend Liam McMullan got the matching tattoos, done by artist Jerami Goodwin. A source said they got the ink jobs "in a private, secret, spiritual ceremony."

"The triangles represent danger and hazards, and the two spiritual energies inside each other. It represents their souls and hearts, and the dangers out there, and that they must follow their dreams," the source added.

McMullan's fiancée Aesha Wak accused Lohan of hooking up with McMullan last December, according to Perez Hilton.

Wak's said, "Lindsay destroyed my world. I am devastated and still love him, but he says he wants to be with her and save her.

"Liam finally got in touch and said that he and Lindsay had formed a 'deep spiritual relationship.' He admitted that he had actually been with Lindsay on Christmas, lying in bed for hours together."
