After Khloe Kardashian detailed the fertility issues keeping her from getting pregnant by her husband, NBA basketball player Lamar Odom, her sister, Kourtney, offered to serve as the couple's surrogate on an upcoming episode of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami.

Blood may be thicker than water, but the bond between the Kardashian sisters may be even stronger.

After talking to Scott Disick about the possibility of carrying Khloe and Lamar's baby to term, Kourtney, already a mother of two, took it upon herself to do whatever she could to help bring her younger sister's first child into the world.

"I just wanted to say that if you did need someone to carry your child, that I would volunteer my services," Kourtney says in the episode. "I would do that for you. I'm being serious. I would do that for you."

Khloe, 28, revealed to her stepbrother Brandon Jenner that she has faced some fertility issues that have served as stumbling blocks for her and her husband during the upcoming March 31 episode of the reality spinoff show.

"About a year ago, we were like, 'Let's just see what happens.' And then when it didn't happen, Kim was like, 'Let's go to the doctor,'" Khloe said on the episode, according to Hollywood Life. "I found out I don't ovulate and now my uterus lining isn't thick enough and I have to take pills to make my uterus lining thicker. If that doesn't get thicker, then I cannot carry a baby."

Although Disick previously voiced reluctance about Kourtney carrying her sister's baby, he said during the upcoming episode that he is fully behind the decision now.

"I still think it's a huge decision, but I understand how you would want to do that for your family. I think it's a conversation to have," he said, according to Hollywood Life.

This wasn't the first time Khloe broached the subject publicly, however.

Khloe spoke about seeing her first fertility specialist during an appearance last year on Good Morning America. At the time, the reality star expressed the realization that starting a family with her husband may not be as simple as she previously thought.

She said on Good Morning America at the time that, after learning of the health and fertility issues in the way of becoming pregnant, "it was really hard to show what I was going through. I feel like I'm helping a lot of people, but I'm still figuring it out for myself," Khloe explained.
